When visiting St. Petersburg for tourist purposes, apartments, the prices of which are low, are not easy to find in the city center, but it is quite feasible. Due to its convenient location, you can visit the Yusupov Palace – a large mansion in a classic style, standing on the Moika embankment. Inside, the original interiors of state halls, living rooms, boudoirs, libraries and other rooms are well preserved. Take a look here if you want to learn more about the life of the aristocracy of the XVIII-XIX centuries. The palace is famous for the fact that Grigory Rasputin was killed here. A separate exposition is dedicated to this event. The Yusupovs' home theater is also preserved in the building – performances are still given here.
